TERMS OF SERVICE

Last updated: October 9, 2025

1. Who we are and how to contact us

This website and online store are operated by Bob Haro Design, UK (“we”, “us”, “our”).
Registered/trading address: 58 St Thomas’s Rd, Hardway, Gosport, Hampshire, PO12 4JX, United Kingdom.
Email: info@harodesign.com

We sell goods to consumers in the United Kingdom. If you are purchasing in the course of business, please contact us first; different terms may apply.

2. Scope and agreeing to these terms

By accessing our site or placing an order, you agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”). Additional policies referenced here (e.g., Privacy Policy, Returns Policy) form part of these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site or purchase from us.

3. Eligibility and account use

You must be at least 18 years old to purchase. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential and for all activities under your account.

4. Product information, pricing and taxes

All prices are shown in GBP. Delivery charges and any other payable amounts are shown at checkout before you place your order. We may change prices at any time, but such changes will not affect orders we have already accepted.

We take reasonable care to describe and display products accurately; however, minor variations (e.g., colour on different screens) may occur.

5. Orders, acceptance and availability

Your order is an offer to buy. We will email an order acknowledgement; acceptance occurs only when we email a dispatch confirmation or otherwise dispatch the goods, at which point a contract forms between you and us. If we cannot accept your order (e.g., out of stock, pricing error, failed checks), we will cancel and refund any payment taken.

6. Payment

We accept the payment methods shown at checkout and take payment at order or dispatch, depending on the method. If we suspect fraud or unlawful activity, we may decline or cancel an order.

7. Delivery, risk and title

We deliver to the addresses offered at checkout. Delivery estimates are indicative. Risk in the goods passes on delivery. Title passes once we receive full payment. Please check deliveries upon receipt and let us know promptly about any issues.

8. Your legal rights (Consumer Rights Act 2015)

You have statutory rights if goods are faulty, misdescribed or not fit for purpose. Within 30 days of delivery you can reject faulty goods for a refund; after that, you may be entitled to repair or replacement, or a price reduction if repair/replacement is not possible. These rights apply in addition to our returns policy and any manufacturer warranties.

9. Your right to cancel (Consumer Contracts Regulations)

If you are a UK consumer buying at a distance (online), you have a legal right to change your mind and cancel the contract within 14 days without giving a reason.

  • Cooling-off period:
The cancellation period ends 14 days after the day you (or a person you nominate) receives the goods. If items are split into multiple deliveries, the period runs from receipt of the last item.

  • How to cancel:
Email us at info@harodesign.com (or use our model cancellation form at Section 23). You must send your cancellation notice before the 14-day period expires.

  • Returning goods after cancellation:
You must return the goods no later than 14 days after telling us you are cancelling. You are responsible for the direct cost of return unless we agree otherwise or the goods are faulty or misdescribed. We may withhold the refund until we receive the goods or you provide proof of return, whichever is earliest.

  • Refunds after cancellation:
We will refund the price you paid, including the standard (cheapest) delivery cost, within 14 days of receiving the returned goods or proof of return. We may make a deduction for any loss in value resulting from unnecessary handling beyond what is needed to check the goods.

  • Exclusions:
Your right to cancel does not apply to certain goods, including custom-made or clearly personalised items, or sealed goods not suitable for return for health protection/hygiene reasons once unsealed. Full statutory exclusions apply.

10. Returns for fault, damage or misdescription

If goods are faulty or misdescribed, contact us as soon as reasonably possible. We will arrange repair, replacement, or a refund in accordance with your statutory rights (see Section 8). Return postage in these cases is our responsibility.

11. Promotional offers and gift cards

Specific terms may apply to promotions, discount codes, or gift cards and will be stated at the point of offer. Promotions cannot be used in conjunction with each other unless expressly permitted.

12. User content, reviews and acceptable use

If you submit reviews, comments, images or other content, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce and display such content in connection with our services. Do not post unlawful, defamatory, obscene, infringing, or harmful content, introduce malware, or attempt to disrupt the site.

13. Prohibited activity

You must not: (a) use the site for unlawful purposes; (b) infringe intellectual property rights; (c) attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems; (d) use automated data scraping (except as permitted by law); (e) interfere with security features; or (f) misuse our IP (logos, trademarks, imagery).

14. Third-party links and tools

We may link to third-party sites or provide access to third-party tools. We are not responsible for third-party content or services. Your use of third-party resources is at your own risk and subject to their terms.

15. Intellectual property

All site content (including text, images, logos, trademarks, graphics) is owned by or licensed to us and protected by applicable IP laws. You may not use any content without our express written permission, other than as necessary to view the site and place orders.

16. Data protection and privacy

We process personal data in accordance with the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018. Please read our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, which explain what we collect, why, and your rights (access, rectification, erasure, objection, portability, restriction). If you contact us about your data, we will respond in line with UK data protection law.

17. Limitation of liability

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be limited under law. Subject to the foregoing, we are not liable for: (a) loss not caused by our breach; (b) losses to non-consumers or business losses (e.g., loss of profit, revenue, data); or (c) any indirect or consequential losses. Your statutory rights are not affected.

18. Events outside our control

We are not liable for delays or failure to perform caused by events beyond our reasonable control (e.g., strikes, transport disruptions, pandemics, extreme weather). If such an event occurs, we will contact you and take reasonable steps to minimise the effect.

19. Complaints and dispute resolution

If you have a complaint, please contact us at info@harodesign.com. We will try to resolve your complaint internally. If your complaint remains unresolved, we will inform you of an approved UK Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) entity relevant to our sector and whether we are willing to use ADR. We are not obliged to use ADR and are not currently committed to an ADR scheme. This does not affect your right to bring court proceedings.

20. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms and any disputes or claims are governed by the laws of England and Wales. You and we both submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland you can bring proceedings in your local courts.

21. Changes to the site and these Terms

We may update the site and these Terms from time to time, for example to reflect changes in law or our business. The version in force at the time you place your order applies to that order. We will not make retrospective changes that reduce your statutory rights.
